It is just that it will no longer be supported. You will no longer see updates, fixes, improvements, etc. Some new applications may decide to not update or install. Some anti-virus products may not run or be updated.
If you have installed Windows 10, and it is working ok for you with the generic Microsoft graphics driver and you are not a gamer , then continue using Windows However, do not be surprised if an upgrade to Windows 10 in the future does not install. But if I have to upgrade to Windows 10 then I might just have to keep it but I can downgrade anytime back to Windows 7.
Do you think I should keep using what I been always using which is Windows 7? Or do I need to use Windows 10? Well if Windows 10 drivers and everything will work fine then I should use Windows 10 since it has a lot more features and more games like Windows games.
But I don't know if this is a driver issue on video card but when I play Jurassic Park Builder on Facebook the screen flashes and items don't look right.
It's really strange that the screen flashes and items don't appear right it's hard to describe and when I played this on Windows 7 this didn't happen. Both Edge and IE on Windows 10 has problems. Is Windows 10 having problems or is it my video driver? If it's the video driver can I use compatibility mode and install the latest one for my Intel HD card from Intel. I can say other games work fine without problems so far just Jurassic Park Builder on Facebook.
Nothing you can do will fix this, short of a new er notebook. If it were as easy as compatibility mode or a newer driver, we would not be having this discussion. The short answer is that none of your hardware is supported on Windows Hi, I have sent you a private message. Regards, Ivan. When prompted to download Windows updates, I also selected to download an optional update described as follow: 'Intel Corporation driver update for Mobile Intel R Express Chipset Family'.
Just to give a more complete picture of what I did, I went on to install the programs Avast and Spybot and only after these did I restart my computer. On boot-up Avast ran a check on my system before the OS loads fully Vista is pre-installed. When Vista has loaded fully, my graphics go haywire; everything assume bigger sizes: the icons, the font, the Start bar menu, and websites need lateral scrolling now.
I assumed it had nothing to do with Avast or Spybot, so I thought of 'rolling back' the driver for my display adapter but that option was greyed.
So I tried installing the driver from Lenovo's site even though I was prompted that the driver I was downloading is an older version than the one I currently have. Alas, 'big' is still here to stay. Things get more complicated for me because I'm still not used to Vista's layout and the non-familiarity really saps my energy. Any help or suggestions please? Download the latest Intel Graphics Media Accelerator driver for your computer's operating system.
