I have the same issue with Messaging app on two computers , and now Skype desktop client seems to be affected, too. When I use the windows 8 messenger app that is included in metro the messages I send to facebook contacts show double in the messenger.
When I check facebook it only shows the messages I send once, however in the app it doesn't. What is the cause of this problem and can I solve it or is it a bug that windows has to fix?
