Yosemite lodge wifi

The larger Loft units sleep 3 or 4 comfortably in two queen beds and a sofa-bed. Cell phone reception is depending on who your carrier is; I have Verizon and it is very spotty. All other carriers are very unreliable, but you can drive to specific spots in the development where reception is OK. Yosemite West is located just outside the west boundary of the park, but is accessible only from INSIDE the park eliminating the need to leave and re-enter the park each day.

Both have WIFI but cell phone reception is spotty. During winter workshops we hike no more than yards to different shooting locations. Otherwise, we rarely hike more than or yards. They are welcome to accompany us on all outings and for meals.

The more the merrier! Oh, and at no additional charge. Non shooting guests are free! During winter, you are required to carry chains. The highway patrol and park service law enforcement will enforce these requirements and you will be turned around if you do not have chains in your car. You could also be required to install chains before being allowed to proceed if its storming or roads are covered with snow. Inside, there is a fully stocked kitchen, dining table that seats 8, large living room, Dish satellite TV, DVD player, WiFi, and a lovely, stone, wood-burning fireplace.

Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms: a Queen; a second Queen with ensuite bathroom shower ; and a third with two Queens. There are also two hallway bathrooms, one with a tub, one with a shower. The central hallway has a library full of books and an armoire with games. Upstairs there is a one-bedroom with two plush queen beds, and a pull-out queen sofa sleeper, and a TV.

French doors open from the living area to a small balcony. There is a full bathroom with two basins, a steam shower, and a whirlpool tub. Outside, this home has a very large deck, much of it covered, with a gas BBQ, and a 6-person outdoor jacuzzi. Parking is ample. This is a smoke-free, pet-free home. The staff is incredible and super responsive -- they managed to get a second fridge installed in the upstairs kitchen for us right before we arrived, which was super helpful since several kids have food allergies and we were able to keep and cook their food separately.

The living areas were spacious and comfortable for all 10 of us. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked - they have almost every utensil and cooking tool you would need including an Instant Pot! One kitchen item that would have been useful is kitchen shears, but we managed with the knives provided. If we were staying longer, access to laundry would be helpful, but overall we absolutely loved it. This was the perfect-sized home and location to celebrate our fathers 80th birthday.

Choose between varying options of our Traditional Rooms, which include rooms with 2 double beds, 1 king-size bed, or 1 queen-size bed. Some of our Traditional Rooms are set up to be accessibility compliant, which include one queen bed, widened doors, grab bars in toilet stalls, raised toilet seats, and low-density carpet. The Lodge has 4 Family King Rooms. These are located only upstairs and have large windows that enable the beautiful mountain sunshine to fill the rooms.

Bunk Rooms are perfect for small groups. The Bunk Rooms are closest to the Merced River and have a queen-size bed and a Bunk Bed double-size on bottom bunk, single size on top. Streaming media from services like Netflix is typically not an option with Limited WiFi.

Guests staying at Yosemite Valley Lodge are welcome to use our free parking lot. Guests not staying at the Lodge, should use the day lots in the Yosemite Village area. Cancellations or changes in reservations must be received 7 days prior to reservation arrival date to assure refund of deposit.

Refunds on cancellations made less that 7 days in advance will be forfeited.
