I didn't realize it had the FM unit built in.
I got more than I expected! And yes The North America Travel guide is now included with the , I am not sure what other models it is included or at all. Circuit City also has that bonus. Not that it means much, unless your a tourist. My stopped working, and I sent it back to Garmin and they sent me back a new one without the Fodors.
I had to ask for it and they sent me the card. You are right, if it was included I would take it. I received the Garmin Travel Guide but I can't figure out you load it on to the I mean, I can put it in the storage slot on the unit but then I don't have anywhere to put my other storage card with my music, pictures, maps, etc. So how do you load it on to the unit itself without having to place in in the card slot? And you will get an option to install, and be done.
I was able to load it into the that it came with but then thought I would also put it on my Only works in the ? Put the card in the slot, then click on Travel Kit, then click on Travel Guide. Then it will ask you if you want to install it. I did Anyone have any other ideas? Wonder if you "reboot-restart" everything it would then install for you. As Rick said above it should install right from the card How do you rebootrestart?
You just take the card and put it in the slot.. I have already tunned it on and off. Maybe it wont let you put it in more than one unit.. I'm trying to load in my as well. As I understand it only the unit it came with "free" will recognize it for load. So if you got it with the , as I did, it won't also work on your Perhaps someone else has other ideas?? Need advice from experienced Nuvi My new unit's volume on interstate is too low even after crank it too maximum.
Any advice on how to make it louder. Switch to the male voice. The female is too quiet. Open www. The cards worked fine in my , but would not work in my computers. The SanDisk tech support line was very unhelpful. They are probably incompatible with older devices cell phones, gps, cameras that are not SDHC rated.
So, if you want to move the cards back and forth, make sure you have a compatible reader. I have the 8GB Kingston card in the and it is recognized by the unit. You will need to buy a new reader as the old ones are not compatible with the new SDHC cards. If you don't want to spend the bucks till the price comes down, use the nuvi as a reader. I just purchased my from Amazon. How do you know if you received with your unit the Travel Guide or not? When I click on Travel Guide it comes back with saying Sample Appreciate the help John.
Mainly the Redlight Cameras and the Icon.
